Who Are We?
eljl is a multi-disciplinary studio. A union between two very different worlds. A simple union between two artists and designers. We are a design studio that prides itself on developing projects across both the print and web spectrums. We provide a wide array of services from collateral design to standards compliant web design and development.
Why Not Specialize?
When we started eljl we thought about moving into one type of design and focusing our attentions in that area purely. The hard part was that we had quite a bit of experience in developing both traditional print projects and web based projects.
Because we had experience in both areas and because we truly loved working in both mediums, we decided that we shouldn't be completely exclusive in any one particular area. As a result, we have continued to develop both print and web projects based on our own interests in what our clients are trying to achieve.
How Do We Work?
Just about all of our client work is handled in house. When we need to, though, we also work with a hand picked group of external writers, editors and developers. These types of collaborations allow us to provide an expanded set of services to our client base.
Who Have We Worked With?
We've worked with a variety of clients across many industries. Some of them include:
We've had the pleasure of working on some wonderful projects with companies of various sizes. We've also had the pleasure of collaborating with some wonderful designers and artists from time to time.
Do We Enjoy Collaborting?
In a word, yes! We started designing and creating because we wanted to have an outlet for our ideas and artwork. While we've always enjoyed working on projects of a personal nature, we've also found great joy in working and discussing our ideas with other artists in a collaborative fashion. Some of these projects are developed into a final product or design, while others are nothing more than loose visions. Whatever the end result, though, we love meeting other artists and understanding their creative processes.
