Project Brief

Portland Public Schools' Enrollment and Transfer Center needed a brochure that would help to educate parents and families on the process of school choice.

The project required the enumeration of a three step education process designed to help parents understand how to proceed in enrolling their students in the district and making a school choice.

Solution

An elegant, navigation heavy layout was developed utilizing three large leader arrows designed to guide readers through the brochure's information step by step. Each step's tag line was placed in a circle at the top of each panel with an arrow pointing down to lead the readers eye into each step. Additional arrows were placed as graphic elements and leaders on the reverse side to further direct the readers eye consistently through the piece. This piece was additionally layed out in Chinese, Spanish and Vietnamese.
